We are now accepting registrations for Pam Newell’s January workshop: “Capturing Light with an Emphasis on Still Life”. This workshop will be oil and pastel (your choice) and will be held once a week for four continuous weeks.

“The Form of Art” Opening Reception tonight!

During the Second Saturday Carmel Gallery Walk we will be having our opening reception of our exhibit “The Form of Art”

Inside, artist David Cunningham will be demonstrating an oil still life. There will also be a sign up for a FREE print of one of his works! Also have the chance to chat with Dan Annarino and learn about his process of painting contemporary landscapes.

Outside, Lisa Pelo will be across the street demonstrating how to make your own glass paperweights! She will be accepting walk up’s from 7 PM to 9 PM for only $25!

Do you wish to make better paintings but don’t know where to begin?

The Hoosier Salon Carmel Gallery is hosting a four week course by award winning artist Pamela C. Newell. This class will help you to infuse light and life into your paintings, and is tailored to YOU as an artist. You will learn to SEE, by painting from a still life set-up, or working from your own photo references. Each session is designed to help you discover your strengths, improve your technical skills, and learn the techniques of master artists, by focusing on fundamentals.

The course is September 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th and 23^rd from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Registration for this four week course is $300 and members of the Hoosier Salon receive a 10% discount.
